We arrived in the morning in Jaisalmer were we where picked up by a 150rupees (2 pound) a night hotel guy which was very decent. The prices in Jaisalmer for sleeping where incredible cheap and for good quality. So after freshing ourselfs up we discussed with the hotel guy about going on safari. We took the option of going with a jeep into the dessert where you will be picked up by a camel, which brings you close Pakistani border were you eat and sleep. In the morning you will make an another tour on the camel where you will be picked up after lunch by the jeep.
This all went exactly as they said. It was smoking hot in the dessert with not a cloud at the sky. After we where brought to our camel pick up point, there where no camels. Liny's camel was stubborn and didn't want to come. The owner was therefore late because he needed to pull the animal the whole time. This resulted in a bleeding nose of the camel because he pulled to hard. After 3 hours walking on the camel we reached our camp spot in the dessert dunes where we could see sunset. After our guide made us dinner with some pots, pans and some fire (made of wood and three stones) he decorated our room for the night. We had a VERY spacious room with a magnificent view on the dunes and stars. During the night two wild dogs joined me at my feet with sleeping.
